When we feel as if we are broken, and isolated by a long list of shortcomings, sometimes we need someone to walk with us into these dark places. Someone to remind us that we are not alone in our struggles. I would like to be that person for you. There is a Ghanaian word, 'Sankofa' which means to "Go back and fetch it!" The spirit of this word is to look to the past as a source of wisdom, to turn a critical eye on our lives and bring forward into the present all things that serve us, and allow what does not serve us to be put to rest. Therapy allows us to go back and retrieve the parts of ourselves that have been banished, or wounded and transform them into allies for the future. You do not have be stuck. Using experiential therapy and an intuitive approach, I  can help you take steps towards a more fulfilling life by shedding the negative self talk that gets in the way of your joy. Together, we can create a new vision for your life.

    I am happy to offer a free 15 minute phone or video consultation. In this first contact, I can learn more about what’s bringing you to therapy now, and you can ask me any questions that you might have. If we both decide that we're a good fit, then we'll schedule our first teletherapy session.

    I know it is not easy, but change happens one small step at a time. My role is to help my clients make sense of their lives in a way that is both realistic and compassionate, ultimately leading to sustainable personal growth.

  • Groups and Workshops Coming Soon

    We all need support, and relief can come when we step out of isolation and come back into connection. Group therapy can be a safe space to explore our stories in community.
